FXSWEDE Privacy Policy 

FXSWEDE and its subsidiaries and affiliates (collectively, “FXSWEDE“, we”, “our” or “us”) respect your concerns about privacy. This Privacy Policy (the “Privacy Policy”) describes how your personal information is collected, used, and swhen you visit or make a purchase from fxswede.com (the “Site”), or when you connect with us by any other means.

 

PERSONAL INFORMATION WE COLLECT

We may collect the following Personal Information:

  • Information you provide us

We collect, process, and maintain information that you may provide to us, including the following:

  • When you make a purchase or attempt to make a purchase through the Site, we collect certain information from you, including your name, billing address, shipping address, payment information (including credit card numbers), email address, and phone number. We refer to this information as “Order Information”.

 

  • Communications with us: Personal Information may be collected from the details you provide as part of any communications with FXSWEDE, by any means, including by e-mail, telephone, social media, SMS, or otherwise. Such Personal Information may include your name and contact details and any other information that you may voluntarily provide to us.

 

  • Our newsletter and commercial materials: you may voluntarily provide us with your contact details or any other information through our Site in order to join our community, subscribe to our newsletter, and receive commercial materials from us. You may choose not to receive future newsletters or materials from us at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link provided in every email you get from us. Alternatively, you may contact us directly by e-mail at info@fxswede.com or to our contact details detailed below in this Privacy Policy to request removal from our mailing list. 

If you are one of our service providers or suppliers, you may also provide us with information such as:

  • Services supplied and quotes you have provided.
  • Occupation, employment and position, qualifications, work experience, professional memberships, referee reports, and employment history.

Additionally, we may receive and/or collect Personal Information from you in the following ways:

  • When you visit the Site, we automatically collect certain information about your device, including information about your web browser, IP address, time zone, and some of the cookies that are installed on your device. Additionally, as you browse the Site, we collect information about the individual web pages or products that you view, what websites or search terms referred you to the Site, and information about how you interact with the Site. We refer to this automatically-collected information as “Device Information”.

 

  • The Site uses cookies to help keep track of items you put into your shopping cart, including but not limited to when you have abandoned your cart. This information is used to determine when to send cart reminder emails and messages via SMS.

 

  • We collect Device Information using the following technologies:

– “Log files” track actions occurring on the Site, and collect data including your IP address, browser type, Internet service provider, referring/exit pages, and date/time stamps.

When we talk about “Personal Information” in this Privacy Policy, we are talking about Device Information, Order Information and any other information detailed above that may be used, either alone or in combination with other information, to personally identify an individual.

HOW DO WE USE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION?

We use the Order Information that we collect generally to fulfill any orders placed through the Site (including processing your payment information, arranging for shipping, and providing you with invoices and/or order confirmations). Additionally, we use this Order Information to:

  • Communicate with you, including to verify your identity, to provide our services, and to provide you with customer care, assistance, and technical support services;
  • Respond to your inquiries and provide support, when applicable;
  • Carry out our legal, regulatory, and contractual obligations and enforce our rights arising from any contracts entered into between you and us;

  • Screen our orders for potential risk or fraud; and
  • When in line with the preferences you have shared with us, provide you with information or advertising relating to our products or services, including email and text messages via SMS.  

We use the Device Information that we collect to help us screen for potential risk and fraud (in particular, your IP address), and more generally to improve our services, optimize the Site (for example, by generating analytics about how our customers browse and interact with the Site), and to assess the success of our marketing and advertising campaigns. 

Additionally, we use and retain information, including Personal Information, to help us deliver the following: 

  • Targeted advertising to consumers that is displayed on both the Site and unaffiliated websites; 
  • Analyze interactions with and performance of the Site;
  • Measure the effectiveness of advertising on behalf of our advertising partners, and to identify the audience most likely to respond to an advertisement. 

We may also use data from third parties (such as data vendors) pursuant to their own privacy policies, and enhance information (including Personal Information) that we have collected with such third-party data. We believe that the use of such information is helpful to providing users with better services. However, if you would like to opt-out of these interest-based advertisements, please follow the opt-out process described below under “Your Choices.” 

We may send email to the email address you provide to us to verify your account and for informational and operational purposes, such as account management, customer service, policy updates, or system maintenance.

We may use information about you, including Personal Information, to send you information about our products and services by email and text messages via SMS.

We may use anonymized, aggregated or other data that is not Personal Information for any purpose, including marketing. These uses may include but are not limited to analyzing interactions with and performance of the Site, enabling us to improve the Site and services, and sharing such information with our business partners, affiliates, or any other third party. Similarly, we may enhance any such anonymized and aggregated data collected via the Site with other information collected from our business partners.

We may use your personal information to extrapolate trends. 

We may share your personal information as described in this Privacy Policy with our service providers and suppliers to the extent necessary to carry out all the said purposes and uses. Third-party service providers and suppliers receiving personal information are authorized to use your personal information only for the purpose it was originally intended or as required or permitted by law. 

Additionally, we may share your personal information for any other purpose with your consent. 

 

SHARING YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION

We share your Personal Information with third parties to help us use your Personal Information in the manner described above. Additionally, we may engage selected third party to perform and send our newsletters or perform services complementary to our own. Such Service Providers may also include hosting and server co-location services, data management, data analytics services, marketing and advertising services, data and cyber security services, fraud detection and prevention services, billing and payment processing services, web analytics, e-mail and SMS distribution and monitoring services, performance measurement, data optimization services, support and customer relation management systems, and our business, legal, financial and compliance advisors (collectively, “Service Providers“). These Service Providers may have access to your personal data, depending on each of their specific roles and purposes in facilitating, supporting, and enhancing our services, and may only use it for such purposes. These Service Providers are required to safeguard your data in compliance with applicable data protection regulations

The above excludes text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties. 

We may share your personal information with our affiliates (including affiliated websites under ownership or control shared by FXSwede AB. 

We may share Personal Information internally within our group, for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy. In addition, In the event that FXSWEDE is sold or transfers some of its assets to another party, including in case it organizes its activities or the Site’s activities in another framework, and also in case it changes its legal structure, your Personal Information could be one of the transferred assets. If your personal information is transferred, the use of your Personal Information will remain subject to this Privacy Policy. Your personal information may also be passed on to a successor in interest in the event of a liquidation or administration of FXSWEDE.

Finally, we may also share your Personal Information with third parties if we believe in good faith that such disclosure is necessary for the following purposes: (a) to comply with applicable laws and regulations, to respond to a subpoena, search warrant or other lawful request for information we receive, or to otherwise protect our rights; (b) to produce relevant documents or information in connection with litigation, arbitration, mediation, adjudication, government or internal investigation, or other legal or administrative proceedings; (c) to protect the interests, rights, safety, or property of FXSWEDE or of others; (d) to enforce any terms of use of our Site; (e) to provide you and other users of our Site with the services or products requested by you or by other users, and to perform other activities related to such services and products; (f) to provide you with special offers or promotions that may be of interest to your; or (g) to properly operate our Site.

To manage our advertising on other sites, we engage third party advertising partners. YOUR RIGHTS

If you are a California resident, you maintain the right to ask us for a notice identifying the categories of Personal Information, as defined by California Civil Code Section 1798.83, we share with our affiliates and/or third parties for their direct marketing purposes and the contact information for such affiliates and/or third parties (under California Civil Code Sections 1798.83-1798.84). By choosing to visit the Site or otherwise provide information to us, you agree that any dispute over privacy or the terms contained in this Privacy Policy will be governed by the law of Sweden and the adjudication of any disputes arising in connection with FxSwede AB or the Site will be in accordance with the Terms.

CHILDREN UNDER THE AGE OF 13

The Site is not intended for children under 13 years of age. No one under age 13 may provide any Personal Information to or on the Site. We do not knowingly collect Personal Information from children under 13. If you are under 13, do not use or provide any information on this Site. If we learn we have collected or received Personal Information from a child under 13 without verification of parental consent, we will delete that information. If you believe we might have any information from or about a child under 13, please contact us using the information in the Contact Us section below.

DATA RETENTION

When you place an order through the Site, we will maintain your Order Information for our records unless and until you ask us to delete this information.

CHANGES

We may update this privacy policy from time to time in order to reflect, for example, changes to our practices or for other operational, legal or regulatory reasons.

If you continue to visit this Site and use the services made available to you after such changes have been made, you hereby provide your consent to the changes.
